Semblance Shawl begins with a few stitches and is knit sideways into a triangle. The lace body of the shawl is easy to work and really only contains a few rows of lace per repeat.

The ribbed border looks like brioche but it is really a variation of Fisherman’s rib. After a few minutes of practice you will find this stitch very simple to work.

The pattern includes your choice of chart or written instructions for the lace.

The sample shown was knit using 4 skeins Cloudborn Alpaca Sport yarn.

Yardage required: approximately 600 m / 650 yds of sport or fingering weight yarn to make the size shown.

The finished size of sample shown: 72 inch / 180 cm wide by 27 inch / 67.5 cm deep.
