A simple headband design, crocheted flat in one piece and sewn together at the front to create a twisted join. This uses the lemon peel stitch pattern to provide a sturdy fabric with an interesting surface texture. This headband pattern is available in 8 different sizes for a range of head circumferences. Available in UK crochet terminology, this pattern is suitable for beginners.

Materials

6mm crochet hook

This pattern was designed using Scheepjes Cahlista in Dark Teal (sample A) and Drops Air in Antique Green (sample B). These are aran weight yarns, and you will require approximately 49, 52 (54, 56, 58) 60, 64, 65m.

Gauge and sizing

This pattern is available for the following head circumferences (in cm): 48-49, 50-51 (52-53, 54-55, 56-57) 58-59, 60-61, 62-63. There are instructions within the pattern for making adjustments.
