Sencillo Socks
Sencillo Socks are a very straightforward pair of top down socks, worked in the round on double pointed needles or circulars and magic loop. After working the rib rounds, you will work in stocking stitch until you reach the slip-stitch heel. The heel is then turned using short rows and stitches are picked up for the gusset, which is then decreased when you begin working the foot. Finally the toe is worked and then the remaining stitches for top and bottom of the foot are grafted together.
These socks were designed to work alongside a series of sock knitting tutorials I posted on Instagram, working through each step of the process.
