This pattern pays tribute to my “special” sense of direction.

Sized to fit head circumference of 21-23 in/53.34-58.42 cm]
It’s an ideal summer hat: cool, versatile, lightweight and airy!

Wear it as a slouch hat, or roll the brim for a closer fit. It’s perfect for camping because you can cover your tent-tresses and hammock-head completely if you have the need and it’s so portable (it rolls up and fits nicely in the water-bottle pocket of a day pack).

Easy to care for: just wash and wear!

Knit in one piece in the round, from brim-to-crown.
Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

White version was knit in Hikoo Cobasi Plus which is a springy, cotton/bamboo/silk and elastic nylon yarn .

Red version was knit in Juniper Moon Farms Sabine which is a lovely (although discontinued) cotton/llama and merino blend yarn.
