The September Air Sweater is knitted top down in a brushed alpaca. This is the perfect light weight sweater for bringing on the go or as an under layer sweater. It’s light weight (between 100-150 gr.) also make it a perfect sweater for traveling allowing room and weight to bring more than one sweater. It can be knitted in any weight of yarn that meets the same gauge or go up a size and down a needle or the other way around if it is difficult to find gauge. The sweater knitted in a classic worsted wool also will change the look of the broken rib and make it stand out more giving it a more solid look. Since it is knitted top down it is easy to costum fit the length of sleeve and body as the sweater is taking form. For a more oversized cropped look cast on a size bigger and start the ribbing earlier.
