September already! Where has the time gone? With the start of school, I’m sure your schedule has changed if you have school age children or you are a teacher. Hopefully you can find time to make yourself or a friend this cute hat before the weather turns cold!

This month I am featuring Bichon Frise. Just for fun, this patterns includes the option of holding a sport weight with some furry yarn. The sample used Simpli Air because that’s what I had in my stash but any mohair type yarn would work just as well! Also just for fun I took some leftover yarn and tied a little bow on 1 ear of 1 dog to honor a friend who used to always put a bow on her girl.

As with the other hats, the directions for the hat construction is written and the colorwork section is charted only.
