This pattern is a one piece, seamed, plaid poncho. The possibilities are endless for color and striping combinations! This is a simple stitch pattern with a fun technique for striping. Great for a confident beginner looking for a new challenge!

This is NOT a color work pattern. The vertical stripes are worked in after the entire piece is finished length wise. You do not need any color work knowledge to create this poncho.

This pattern is written for a general size (fitting S to XL), however there are written instructions for how to modify for a larger size.

Sample was knit in more of a light fingering, but a fingering weight yarn is preferred. If gauge is off by just a stitch or so, you will be fine with suggested needle size. Anymore and you may want to adjust.

Sample used ~50g (half) of size 100g skeins. Therefore, the least amount of colors or skeins you could use for this project is three 100g skeins.
