Errata 08/15/21: BO loosely has been added to the end of the pattern.

The design for this shawl features basic stitches, simple stripes and garter stitch. A faux i-cord edge gives it a polished feel. I wanted to design a shawl that would work for everyone. This is a unisex pattern.

This shawl is easy to knit and is designed to work with two colors of Youghiogheny Yarns Yough Sock. You will need one skein of each color. The colors pictured are Merlot and Yuletide.

Any fingering weight that meets the yardage requirements will work though. Color A uses about 435 yards, and Color B uses about 449 yards. It would also be fun to play with mini skeins or partial skeins from your stash!

Just remember - if your gauge is different from what’s listed in the pattern, it will affect your yardage requirements!

The shawl is worked in one piece, and the colors are carried up the edge at each color change. There are NOT a tons of ends to weave in! A great project for knitters of all experience levels from an adventurous beginner to those with more experience seeking an easy project.

Finished measurements are approximately 90 inches across the top and approximately 23 inches deep at the widest point.
