If you’re anything like me, you’re getting anxious for farmers’ markets and fresh produce after this year of social isolation. Designed to work up quickly with just one 50g skein of cotton blend DK yarn, this market bag ensures you’ll be ready for perusing the markets again in no time.**CONSTRUCTION**The bag body is worked in rows of chain stitches and single crochets. There is no seaming required, and the mesh will form itself into the rough shape of the body of the bag. The bag handle is worked in rounds crocheted into the sides of the bag and will secure the bag in its finished shape.**SKILL LEVEL: Easy**This pattern is written in standard crochet shorthand. Notes include basic instructions for understanding the method of notating multiple stitches, repeats, and symbols used in the written pattern.*essential skills include single crochet, chain stitch, working into back loops, working into chain spaces, working into the side of a crocheted row***GAUGE NOTES**Gauge isn’t super important here - just be sure chains are fairly tight to prevent excess stretching.**SIZING**If your gauge matches mine, the standard size bag is approximately 12 inches (30 cm) deep mesh and is recommended for produce or other small items you’d like to keep in their own bag. Large is approximately 20 inches (50 cm) deep and is recommended for carrying a larger assortment of items. Handles can be adjusted to any size by changing the initial chain length.**+****PERMISSIONS***If you make this item to sell, let me know! I’m happy to direct potential buyers to your shop.* Items crocheted using this pattern may be sold and distributed at the maker’s discretion.
