This crochet pattern is for a DNA-sequencing nanopore, such as the technology developed by Oxford Nanopore Technologies.
There are three parts, the biological protein nanopore (Alpha-hemolysin), the DNA intended for sequencing, and a motor protein, which acts as an adapter to associate with the nanopore protein.

Supplies
- DK yarn – three different colours of your choosing.
- 3.5mm hook
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Yarn needle
