Look angelic in this bonnet with a ruffled edging. Two colorwork options for whether you want pure sweetness or a little edge. Laceweight mohair is held with fingering weight wool for a soft halo.

Yarn: MC: One strand of fingering weight yarn held with one strand of laceweight mohair, approximately 180 yards each. CC: Fingering weight yarn held double, or fingering + laceweight like the main body, approximately 80 yards total / 40 yards each if using two. You could also use a DK weight yarn by itself if you prefer not to use mohair.

Needles: US 5 / 3.75mm, 16” circular + DPNs, or circular needle long enough for magic loop if that’s your preferred method for small-circumference knitting.

Gauge: 23 stitches and 32 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch

Skills required: Stranded colorwork worked flat including managing long floats, picking up stitches, knitting in the round, i-cord, DPNs or magic loop. Instructions included for working the pattern plain without the colorwork if desired.
