I am so happy to introduce my “Serene Swirl” Mosaic CAL (crochet-a-long).

It takes its name from the swirling detail throughout the design and it’s delightful mandala style shape. It’s a versatile CAL that can be used as a small blanket, or table decoration and will add a pop of colour to every home.

The CAL will start on 25th August 2023 and will run for 5 weeks, with a new section coming out every Friday. These are the dates for your diary:

Week 1 - 25th August 2023
Week 2 - 1st September 2023
Week 3 - 8th September 2023
Week 4 - 15th September 2023
Week 5 - 22nd September 2023

To join in with the live CAL, you will need to purchase the written pattern here on Ravelry. The CAL will start on 25th August 2023. The next stage of the pattern will be added to your Ravelry library each Friday.

The pattern is suitable for crocheters who are familiar with the mosaic colour technique and confident crocheters or above. But if you love crochet, I’d encourage you to join in and have a go at learning something new anyway!

WHAT YOU NEED:

You will need a main colour, contrast colour and your crochet hook! I used:

A – 6 balls, Hobbii Amigo, DK (100% HB acrylic, 50g/175m), White (A01)

B – 5 balls, Hobbii Universe XL, DK (98% premium acrylic, 2% polyester, 100g/220m), Stella Polaris (31) B

You will also need a 3.5mm ( E ) crochet hook.
