Serenity is a small crescent shaped shawl, suitable for both men and women.

Double wrapped smocking adorns the center panel (which is equally attractive on the opposite side) and simple garter stitch side panels with a ribbed border makes Serenity totally reversible.

I know what you’re thinking…smocking can be cumbersome and slow, and using a cable needle over and over again is a pain! WELL…I have come up with a easier method by using yarn overs. Once you get the hang of it, this little shawl will fly off of your needles!

Gauge is not critical, as long as you are using the recommended weight of yarn and needle size.

Detailed written instructions include a stitch guide as well as a schematic for blocking. Metric measurements included.

Blocked dimensions are 48” (122 cm) long, 15” (38 cm) wide.

Materials Needed:
1 Skein of Serenity 20 by Zen Yarn Garden (or similar weight yarn)
#6 (4.0 mm) circular needle 40” (102 cm) long
4 markers
tapestry needle
