PATTERN NOTE
The cowl is designed to fit closely around the neck, so the circumference may feel too small to pass comfortably over the head. For this reason, a yarn with good stretch is strongly recommended.

If you find the cowl too tight to fit over your head, you may adjust your gauge to achieve a more comfortable fit.

SKILL LEVEL
Advance beginner to intermediate

SIZE
37 cm/14.5’’ x 60 cm/23.6’’

YOU’LL NEED:
• Approximately 350 yds / 320 m of fingering weight yarn
Sample shown in Viscose yarn (400 m / 100 g)
• US 3 / 3.25 mm circular needle
• Stitch markers (for separating pattern repeats)
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)

GAUGE
23 stitches x 35 rows in 4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm stockinette stitch after blocking.
Please consider blocking the swatch for more accurate measurements, as certain types of fiber grow/shrink easily after blocking.
