Serratus

It’s with great pride that I present to you my first knitwear pattern. Serratus is an open cardigan knitted top down and seamless. It’s the lace pattern running down the side of the body that makes this cardigan so distinguished and motivating to knit! Serratus is a muscle located under the arms descending towards the ribs, the lace is a reminder of its serrated shape, so it was simply logical to name my cardigan in honor of this muscle!

Needles and notions

• Needles: 4.5 mm/US 7 and 4 mm/US 6 circular needles with a long cable (32”/80 cm)
• Stitch markers: 11
• Tapestry needle

Yarn

Cactus Yarn Studio – DK – 100% Superwash Merino, 113g/230m (250y) – Nid-de-Poule. You will need 3 (4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins or about 550 (750, 920, 1100, 1240, 1350, 1450, 1600) m of DK weight yarn.

A (B, C, D, E, F, G, H) / 32 (36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60) inches for bust

*Unfortunately, I did not find testers for sizes G and H (56 and 60) inches. If you wish to knit one of these sizes, it will be my pleasure to offer you the pattern in exchange for your feebacks.*

20 sts for 28 rows = 4 inches knitted flat in jersey

Serratus

C’est avec une grande fierté que je vous présente mon premier patron de vêtement au tricot! Serratus est un cardigan qui se porte ouvert, il se tricote du haut vers le bas, sans couture. C’est le motif de dentelle descendant le long du corps qui rend ce cardigan si distingué et motivant à tricoter! Serratus (connu sous le nom de dentelé en français) est un muscle situé sous les bras descendant vers les côtes, la dentelle est un rappel de sa forme dentelée, alors c’était tout simplement logique de nommer mon cardigan en l’honneur de ce muscle!

Laine Cactus – DK – 100% Mérino Superwash, 113g/230m (250y) – Nid-de-Poule. Vous aurez besoin de 3 (4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) écheveaux ou environ 550 (750, 920, 1100, 1240, 1350, 1450, 1600) m de laine grosseur DK.
