The Set Adrift Shawl is made from Lion Brand Mandala, a wonderful yarn with beautiful drape. I have been wanting to make a triangle shawl pattern for quite some time, and this colorway really spoke to me.

I wanted a floaty triangle shawl to take with me on vacations, especially to the beach! With the right length and drape, a shawl like this can double as a sarong over a swimsuit and make a nice wrap on a cool evening with the breeze blowing over the water.

The Set Adrift Shawl was first published in Happily Hooked Magazine, Summer of 2018. All photos here are credited to Happily Hooked Magazine.

This pattern is for crochet only.

All patterns are written in US terms using Craft Yarn Council abbreviations.

Easy pattern. You need to have knowledge of chains (ch), double crochet (dc), treble crochet (tr), chain spaces (ch sp).
