YARN: The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair; 300m (328yds) per 100g hank); shown in Appleby Castle – 1 hank
Approx. yardage used 110 125: 133 m
NEEDLES: 3mm (US 2.5) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)
3.25mm (US 3) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)
EXTRAS: 9 stitch markers. Cable needle
TENSION: 26 sts and 34 rnds to 10cm (4in) measured over st st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles, after blocking.
