yarn needle to sew in ends

Cable needle (optional)

Difficulty level: Medium (if you have never made a braided cable.)

My friend requested an ikea doll bed size blanket pattern for her bunny’s instagram, (sir.snuggleton). After many days of going back and forth over video call and texting photos of swatches she settled on the following doll/pet blanket pattern.

She settled on seven braided cables with six columns of stockinette stitch in between, and a border on the sides with garter stitch.
