There is a limited number of kits for this shawl available at the Ruppert Garne shop - my own sample and also the 2nd project shown here(in blue/ green /yellow) were made with exactly this combination of yarns!

Suggestion: Work this wrap with two lace yarns held together for the perfect gradient! (Please note that the given yardage is for those 2 yarns together.)

Seven is a somehow mystical number. The “Seven wonders” wrap again creates a fade effect, this time with 7 colors. The “Moss Stitch Pyramids” pattern for the edges nicely relates to the name, with the Pyramids of Gizeh being one of those wonders.

This is a quite relaxing project, suitable for TV, but never boring because of the color changes and the Moss pyramid pattern to keep you entertained.

Measurements: Approximately 180cm x 65 (70) cm.
In case you are knitting at a different gauge or would like to change the size, please keep in mind that the number needs to be a multiple of 10 + 3 sts. A different gauge may result in a change in yarn usage!

The wrap was designed for a Fingering weight yarn, to be knitted up with needle 3,5mm at a gauge of 24 sts x 33 rows (or 22 sts x 30 rows for gauge 22).

The wrap contains 7 stripes in different colors, hence the name.
Instead of using 7 matching colors in Fingering weight, I suggest working with two Lace yarns (350-450m/ 50g) held together, for a beautiful gradient with even more gradual color changes.
