The Seventh Floor Cardi is a classic seamless cardigan with a simple cable panel throughout. The cable panels are edged with twisted rib stitches; they travel up the front of the cardi and around the neckline to create a chic shawl collar. This sweater design was a collaboration with 7th Floor Yarns and inspired by their new “Twisted Aran”, a luscious blend of Fine Merino and Alpaca.

Construction Details
The Seventh Floor Cardi is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. Sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff to the underarm. The body is then worked flat from the bottom edge to the underarm. The sleeves and body are joined together and then the raglan yoke is worked in one piece. An I-cord edging is worked around the entire front edge, thereby requiring no picked up stitches for the collar. Pattern includes suggestions for creating an A-line shape in this otherwise straight, boxy garment.
