This pattern can be used to make a military regulation beanie cap . It is written for ALL weights of yarn fingering-bulky. From the pattern: Note- the cap is meant to fit snugly- but not uncomfortably so. I give loose gauge requirements to
use your own judgment. The most important thing is to make the cap 9-10 inches in length from tip of crown to edge of cap.

If you can knit caps or better yet socks please consider donating some of your knitting time to our military men and women….The grup needs knitters at this time as there are literally hundreds of soldiers on the list waiting for a care package from the group full of hand knit socks, beanies for both on and off duty wear as well as tons of other goodies…there is a place for everyone to serve here. Check it out at: Socks for Soldiers Yahoo Group There is also a Socks for Soldiers Ravelry group so check us out here as well.
