This pattern was updated on August 2, 2013, to correct an error in the final third section. The original version called for too many repeats in the cabling section. Thanks to StarStrong who spotted the error.

This design was made with worsted weight yarn, but could easily be adapted to lighter weight yarns to create an airy cowl.

The sample cowl measures 10” high x 52” around (unblocked). This size is big enough to wrap around the neck twice if desired. And can also be worn as a shoulder wrap.

The size can be adjusted by adding or subtracting the number of cast-on stitches in multiples of 11, and adding or subtracting the number of rounds.
