I made this cardigan while vacationing near Shadmoor State Park in Montauk, NY.

The cardigan can be made using any weight yarn to any size - I suggest DK yarn, which is what I used. You do not have to match my gauge!

It is made to match your measurements, and there are opportunities for adjustment as you work to your desired size.

The construction is modular, with minimal seaming. The stitch pattern alternates rows of double-crochet stitches with rows of crossed double crochet stitches to provide an interesting texture - the top section is made in vertical rows and the bottom section in horizontal rows to further intrigue the eye.

There is a baby-sized version of this pattern“ “Baby Crossings” which is free to purchasers of “Shadmoor Crossings.”
