These techniques are not written in stone. Use any preferred methods.

Shaken not Stirred sock instructions are given for magic loop, toe up with a Turkish Cast-On (one or two-at-a-time, whatever method is preferred), true afterthought heel, 2x2 ribbed cuff and Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind off.

Knitting toe-up will allow the pattern to remain ‘upright’ as if looking at stacked martini glasses. Use whatever size needle to achieve the correct gauge to fit a desired size. Although socks are knit with negative ease, socks need to have some elasticity to them! The knitter should be able to place her/his hands inside the socks and be able to stretch them wide by spreading the fingers. If the socks have absolutely no give to them, try a larger needle.

The instructions are written for the small size with the large size in parantheses ( ). These socks are one color, but contrasting color (CC) toes, cuffs and heels may, of course, be inserted.
