This pattern was designed for the second stop of the 2020 Good Vibes Yarn Tour, String Theory Yarn Co in Glen Ellyn, IL where the maple leaves steal the show in October.

This lace pattern reminds me of fall leaves blowing in the wind. I often have difficulty staying focused with lace, but this pattern is an 8 stitch repeat which is easy to keep in your head while you work a row. I suggest adding markers between repeats so that you know right away if you get off. I added the stockinette/reverse stockinette sections in the middle so that you have some “rest” rows and also so it will “scrunch” up nicely when you wear it.
