The Shakti Healing Shawl is a triangle shaped shawl knit sideways. The simple nature of the pattern is designed for the knitter to repeat the mantra “om shakti om.” A prayer shawl for healing divine feminine energy.

The pattern is written for two options for yarns but the final shawl yields the same size of a 78” wingspan.

Achieving gauge is not necessary. It is used as a reference only.

Blocking this shawl is a must! It will really open the holes created with the yarn over technique described in the pattern.

Fringe is optional. I used almost an entire ball of loopy mango yarn to create the fringe on that version of the shawl. If you aren’t planning to add fringe you may need one less ball of yarn.
