Warm, yet delicate, the Shale Beret shows off your knitting skills with a pattern that’s interesting, yet uncomplicated. Start at the crown and watch as wedges of stockinette stitch grow and alternate with triangles striped with purl ridges. Lacy borders between the triangles swirl around the crown and conceal the necessary increases in plain sight. Reverse stockinette ridges continue underneath the crown and down the brim. Finish with a rib for a fun, unfussy beret that
you won’t have to wait for winter to wear!
