Shalechet Cowl and Hat Set
The Shalechet Set is born from a moment of pause—a week of vacation dedicated to breathing in creativity and reclaiming quiet. Originally scribbled on old notes and tucked between the pages of a knitting book, these sketches of cables and textures have been lovingly refined and tech-edited by the Knit Local community into a clear, comprehensive guide.
This set features a beautiful cable texture that shines equally in variegated yarns (like the original Noro) or solid colors. Designed to be a quick, rewarding weekend project, it’s the perfect handmade gift for everyone from newborns to adults.
Construction
Hat: Knitted in the round from the brim up to the crown. The wide ribbing flows seamlessly into a 15-stitch cable repeat. Decreases are cleverly hidden within the texture for a clean, professional finish.
