I’m falling
In all the good times I find myself
Longing for change
And in the bad times I fear myself
I’m off the deep end, watch as I dive in
I’ll never meet the ground
Crash through the surface, where they can’t hurt us
We’re far from the shallow now
~ Lady Gaga, Shallow

I can’t think of a movie that impacted me quite the way the 2018 version of A Star is Born has, in particular, the amazing song, Shallow. I think it is a poignant reminder of the importance of listening to others, including those who have different opinions then yours, and the extreme importance of loving yourself, knowing that YOU are enough just as you are, that you do not have to change for anyone. Ever. This wrap just flowed out of my hands while I listened to the soundtrack on repeat. I hope you find the love for yourself as you knit it.
