This job was very exciting for me. I carried this idea with me for a very long time. Shamanism is the oldest tradition of the peoples of Siberia! This tradition is at least 7,000 or 8,000 years old. That is, it appeared in the Neolithic period. To understand how it was a long time ago, it is enough to remember that around the same time people invented something vaguely resembling an axe made of sharpened stone and a stick. According to these traditions, the shaman was and is an intermediary between people and the spirit world. Both 8,000 years ago and today, the tradition is passed down from shaman to shaman. This tradition has no written rules or sacred books. In this regard, it is even more surprising that this tradition is still alive! I have always been surprised by the striking similarity of the traditions of Siberian shamans and American Indians. Dances, music, tambourines, beliefs, traditions, homes. With this pattern, I would like to thank all those who carefully carry the traditions of their ancient ancestors through the millennia. And also point out how close we all are. The fact that all of us, from the Indians of America to the nomadic peoples of Siberia, have the same ancestors and the same roots.

I am glad to share with you the last part of my “trilogy” of hats and sweaters for adults and children - “Shaman”. :) I will be very happy if my patterns will make us a little closer to each other at least two people on this planet. After all, we all share much more than a passion for knitting :)
