I would like to introduce my very first crochet pattern- Shamsi. The name comes from Arabic (Egyptian dialect) Shams- Sun and Eish Shamsi- a kind of Egyptian bread. I lived in Egypt for a few years and it will always be close to me I think the spike of grain motifs and the sunny colour go well with this name .

Shamsi consists of 6 main parts and an optional extension. You will find various stitches and motifs that form a cohesive whole.
I would describe the difficulty as intermediate to advanced.
Pattern contains ONLY chart, there is no written description so you need to be able to read charts.
I hope you enjoy crocheting Shamsi .
