A very cute and functional beanie to wear with your hair up. An awesome pattern if you want to give new stitch techniques a go or just practice things like ribbing and moss stitch.

Any 8 ply yarn will work. I used 8 ply acrylic because that’s what I was given to do it, but something that is nicer will definitely work too. I used most of a 100gm ball for the small size so if you are making a large it might pay to get two balls to be on the safe side.

Because there is an even number of stitches, on the moss stitch rounds, it doesn’t flow on at the start of the second and each subsequent rounds. So just keep in mind that if the round ends with a knit stitch the next round will start with a knit stitch and if a round ends with a purl stitch the next round will start with a purl stitch.
