Shape your shades features elongated fronts for visual interest and modern elegance. The seamless seed stitch neckband and fronts skim and lengthen the body. The seed stitch body with a colour shade panel ensures a grip fit with interesting details.

The cardigan is knitted flat from the top down, using 2 strands (fingering and lace weight yarn) held together to achieve this fantastic marled fabric with colour changes.

Beginning at the back of the neck with a provisional cast on, the neckband is worked back and forth, then stitches for the yoke are picked up from the neckband. The yoke is shaped with raglan increases. The front band includes some short rows for a better shape. The lower body is knitted flat, back and forth, sleeves are worked in the round.

This pattern is dedicated to all of you who love shade bags and gradient sets. The pattern includes a worksheet on which you can create your color shades. So let’s shape your shades!
