Shark Phone Case
As my 9-year-old son stared at the TV, Shark Week on the Discovery Channel was showing a particularly majestic animal. Josh had a million questions on why the shark was so heavy, why they could lose teeth and grow new ones, why it was so hard to tag a shark, and their relation to our fellow mammals in the sea (killer whales are awesome!) I could see he was hooked…. Not like I am hooked on crocheted (no pun intended) but he was definitely in love with this smooth animal of pure muscle.
He chased his little siblings around with a stuffed sharked for days after learning about his new favorite animal. He stuck his hand into its mouth and gave the shark some of his dinner. I knew I had to make him a little shark of his own to consume his cell phone.
Overall Pattern Notes:
Some phones are bigger or smaller, so lengthen or shorten the initial chain by 5 stitches at a time to achieve the right sizing.
