My husband, kids and I LOVE Shark Week on Discovery Chanel! We love all of the shows about sharks and look forward to learning more about these magnificent creatures durning this week each year. Worked in pieces and crocheted together, Sharkie is a perfect project to work on during the week or makes a perfect mascot to share in the enjoyment!

What you need for this project:
• Yarn:
Whatever you want! A bulkier yarn will make a bigger Sharkie. A finer yarn will make a smaller Sharkie! Both Sharkies shown were made using the same pattern – different yarns made for very different sizes! Different yarns will also give you very different textures, so have fun and be sure to share your finished Sharkies with me on my @juleslovesyarn facebook page!!
