This pattern is also known as “1950s Style Cardigan” in Men’s knits: 20 new classics.

Please note: the pattern specifies 12mm needles for the body, but this size was not available in the drop-down menu.

From the Book:
A retro-inspired zipper cardigan with a garter stitch collar and patch pockets. Made in lofty but lightweight wool for oversized stitches. It is simply worked in stockinette stitch with a contrasting rib-stitch back. This garment knits up fast and is a great basic.

Sizes
Small to fit 36” chest (actual chest 44”)
Medium to fit 38” chest (actual chest 46”)
Large size to fit 40” chest (actual chest 48”)
XL to fit 42” chest (actual chest 50”)

Yardage
This pattern requires 10-12 skeins of Rowan Big Wool. The book incorrectly states that Big Wool is 137 yards/skein. The yardage requirement listed above (870-1044 yards) was calculated using the correct number of yards per skein of Big Wool, 87 yards.
