The Shawl Together Now uses a simple 1x1 chart for stash-friendly stranded colorwork. This pattern is knit flat, from the top down, ending with twisted ribbing. Yarn over increases occur along both edges, and M1 increases occur along the center spine.

With short floats and easy to memorize repeats, this makes a great first colorwork shawl!

The All Together Now design series is a tribute to the many indie dyers that I’ve worked with. The phrase All Together Now references the Beatles song by the same name, inspired by the music hall tradition of asking the audience to join in, prompting knitters to join in sharing in the fiber community.
