I love knitted lace. It can be romantic or modern. It can even manage to be both at the same time. I also love knitting lace – there is such a seductive rhythm. I do not, however, love wearing shawls, the ubiquitous lace project-- hence this sweater, doing its best imitation of a shawl.

This garment is knit in two T-shaped pieces which are joined together via Kitchener Stitch at the shoulders and then seamed at the sides and underarms.

Is very, very loose fitting and can easily be made longer, too.
