Fed up with the weather in their own home the Sheep have decided it’s time for a holiday. Where better than Sheep Dip Island Resort – an oasis of crystal blue waters, palm trees, sandy beaches and lots of fun!
You can crochet your own Sheep Dip Island with this downloadable PDF pattern. It has instructions for the sheep, the pool, the palm trees and much more! Beach balls, lilo, arm bands, swimming ring, towel, hammock, beach umbrella, bucket, spade, sandcastle and foliage! Plenty of things to keep a small flock entertained!
To make your resort you’ll need:
Double Knitting Yarn in the following colours: Aqua (approx.100g/340metres), Beige (approx. 50g/170metres),plus oddments of Red, Orange, Yellow, Dark Green, Light Green, Turquoise, Mauve, Brown, Cream, Grey
3mm and 4mm crochet hook
Polystyrene Ring (flat on the back) 350mm/14” diameter with 220mm/81⁄2”centre
Toy Filling
Small amount of black yarn or embroidery thread for the Sheep eyes and nose
Thick drinking straw for Beach Umbrella
Small amount of card & sticky tape for umbrella base
Finished Size: 14″/35 cm wide and approximately 10″/26cm tall
