This is the sheep hat I designed after a customer request for one left me empty handed after extensive search through available patterns. This is my original design
You start of with working the loop stitch in the round and continue on with a contrasting colour to finish the hat and earflaps. I used traditional colours but you can use whatever colours you fancy :-) I used Brown and cream and probably about 50grams of each Basically one 100g ball of each colour will leave you plenty left over for another little project.
I have made these using a 4.55 mm hook Some of those who tested the pattern for me suggested using a 4mm hook as it came up a little in favour of the bigger size. I will leave it to your discretion which you use If you tend to crochet loose go for 4mm if you crochet tight go for 4.5mm.
