A knitting pattern for a unique and useful bag featuring Colourful Sheep

A very quick, fun bag to knit as it is worked in Chunky yarn (12 ply). Great for using small amounts of left-over yarn and for those wishing to try picture knitting.

Materials - Chunky Yarn
200 grams of cream for main colour
50 grams of black, gold, grey, green and blue for the Sheep

Knitting Needles – 1 pair of 5 mm (UK6 – US8) straight needles

Yarn bobbins are useful to hold the different coloured yarns across the row.

Tension
Although tension is not crucial for this pattern, the suggested tension is:
16 stitches and 22 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking stitch using 5 mm needles

Bag size 33 cm wide x 40 cm tall (12.5 inches wide x 16 inches tall) excluding strap

There are large coloured charts to follow for the sheep.
