Sheep Stress Ball
Living in a high traffic Metropolitan area can be quite stressful. I love making these sheep stress balls to keep in my car to use. They are fun to squeeze. I like to include dried lavender in the body which makes a nice aroma while squeezing during stressful times. It is a nice project. This pattern is a great starter project to learn the basics of loom knitting especially the ease and speedy knitting using the E-wrap knit stitch.
These sheep stress balls are constructed in 2 parts (the head and the body) on a KB
Flexee Loom Bitty (Authentic Knitting Board). The body is constructed using the E-wrap
Knit Stitch in a round and the head is constructed using a combination of True Knit, E-wrap
knit, and u Knit stitches in the round and in flat knitting. Two bind off methods are
discussed. This pattern is a great introduction on how to knit on a knitting loom exploring
different methods knit stitches and binding off.
