Make this cute sheep in the colour of your choice and give him his own expression!

Sheep uses bobble yarn of approx 50gm = 30 m, with a strand of 8 ply beside it. Pick a yarn with similar yardage - there are many brands to choose from – I use Moda Vera’s “Marshmallow” or Sean Sheep’s “Ping Pong”. It will take about 75 gms of bobble yarn to make a sheep tea cosy, plus 25 gms of 8 ply of your choice in a matching colour, and 30 gms of contrast colour 8 ply.

Update January 2017: I’m told that this type of bobble yarn is becoming hard to find in the US though it is still available elsewhere (search for bobble or pompom yarn).
If you are looking for an alternative King Cole Cuddles Chunky or 8ply will give a different but still fluffy “sheepy” look.
