Traditionally created in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, thrums use roving, knit together with worsted weight yarn to create a soft, warm, fleecy lining.

Size: Sizes: small, medium, large

Yarn: 1 skein - Lake Knit Yarns Worsted, 50 g = 92 yds (84m) Roving - 2 oz (50 g) (amount will depend on the size of thrums made)

Needles: 4 - U.S. size 6 (4mm) straight needles or DPN’s or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: Thrum pattern - 6 sts and 8 rnds = 1 inch (2.5 cm) on U.S. size 6 (4 mm) needles, worked flat, or size needed to obtain gauge. Gauge is measure, unblocked.
