Sheepish Mittens were inspired by the happy sheep on my cousin’s farm - Topsy Farms - on Amherst Island in Ontario, Canada. The yarn I used comes from their sheep and is processed in a small mill on Prince Edward Island.

The mittens are knitted in the round using two colour stranded knitting. The shaped thumb gore makes for a well fitting and comfortable mitten while the two yarns give a nice warm fabric.

There are two sizes - the small is slender and the large is wider and is designed to be worn over another pair of thin mittens for extra warmth.
