“Shelby” is a an elongated triangular scarf or shawl. It’s knitted end to end with gradual increases that create a shallow triangle. The geometric diamond pattern is created using twisted stitches. The stitch definition gives a subtle yet dramatic texture to the luxurious drape of this accessory. It’s knitted using Ikigai Fiber

Shawl Construction:
This shawl is knitted side to side (see schematic). It begins at one tip, increasing one (1) stitch every 4th right side row until the widest point. Then it decreases at the same interval until finishing at the opposite tip.
Three selvedge stitches are at the beginning and end of every row, such that the top and bottom edges of the finished shawl have a seed stitch border.
Written instructions as well as charted instructions are included in this pattern
