The stitches used in this pattern are Double Crochet, Front Post and Back Post Double Crochets, chain stitches, and slip stitches. -- You don’t have to be afraid of front post double crochet (FPDC) and back post double crochet (BPDC). If you can make a regular double crochet you can do this as well. Both FPDC and BPDC stitches can add more texture to your crochet project. These stitches are worked like the regular double crochet stitch except that you insert the hook in a different way before you pull up a loop. In FPDC, you insert the hook from front. In BPDC you insert the hook from back. I give step by step instructions in my pattern for how to do this. If you already know how this will be easy!

What is Unique/Special about my patterns:
You can make it any Size!
There are Step by Step Photos - Just like we are making the blanket together.
I am here to help.

If you are like me you choose a blanket by the stitch/pattern first and not the size. Did you ever see a blanket you really Love but the pattern is for a baby blanket? Or it is baby blanket size and you want to make a large afghan. Not a problem here….Every one of my patterns includes the pattern repeat so that you can make it ANY size.

The Yellow Blanket in the photo measures 28” wide x 36” long (71 cm wide x 91 cm Long) including the border. It was made with Bernat Satin Yarn, Medium Weight yarn. Color Used: Banana, Hook Size used H. I used 4 skeins (3.5 oz. /100g each).

The pink blanket in the photo was made by my pattern tester (My Mother).
It measures 33” wide x 33” long (83 cm Wide x 83 cm Long) including the border. It was made with Lion Brand, Baby Soft. Color Used: Parfait Pink (Variegated yarn), Hook Size used G. She used 3 skeins (3.5 oz. /100g each).

The Yellow, White and Taupe blanket was also made by my mother -- she really loved this pattern! This blanket is made with red heart yarn that she had in her stash. She randomly changed colors for the main blanket and changed colors for each round of the border.
