Shell Song
The Shell Song tee is inspired by the gentle rhythm of the sea, with flowing cables and delicate lace that evoke the patterns of seashells and ocean waves. The tee is knitted seamlessly from the top down, featuring a lace and cable pattern on the front and sleeves. It has a relaxed, boxy fit with dropped shoulders, giving it a casual yet elegant silhouette.

NOTES
The tee is started at the back neck and increased to the full width of the back. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders and continued for the front, with the lace panel at the centre. The front and back are joined at the underarms, and the body is worked in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the body and worked in the round, with a bit of short-row shaping at the sleeve caps to improve the fit and a narrower lace panel on the sleeve tops. Stitches for the neckband are picked up from the neckline and worked in ribbing in the round. The hem, cuffs, and neckband are finished with a Sewn Tubular Bind-Off, providing a beautiful, stretchy edge that makes the stitches appear to roll over to the other side of the ribbing.
