This pattern is written for a standard 750ml size bottle, but includes directions for adjusting the size to fit your bottle. Gauge is not critical. - just check that the base of your project fits the bottom of your wine bottle.

This project is a great way to use up partial skeins of leftover yarn and could be made with any worsted weight yarn, although something stretchy, like wool, for the main color will help it contour to the bottle better.

Project is worked in unturned rounds. Each round is joined with a sl st. Each subsequent round begins in the same stitch the st sl was worked into for the join.
