This lovely little bonnet is created using a very simple format and perfect for a beginner to practice the shell stitch. Basically, one crochets a rectangle of shell stitch rows, then folds the rectangle in half and sews up one side then adds ties. The best part about this bonnet is that the finished product looks much more complicated than it is to actually produce.
